FAQ

Who are the Fly Tours for?

Fly Tours are for all paragliding pilots, in compliance with flight licenses and proper insurance within the fly laws of Italy.

What kind of flights will we do?

We cater to quiet and relaxing flights, enjoying the Tuscan panoramas. Our aim is for maximum relaxation.
Our tours are not intended for those who wish to do xc flights. However, upon request and with the full agreement and an homogeneous level in the group, we will be glad to organize them.

What happens in the case of bad weather?

In the event of bad weather, there is no need to worry. After all, you are in Italy! We will spend our days visiting the most beautiful Art cities in the world: Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Your experience will be unforgettable even if you cannot fly. And the food is not so bad either.

What insurance will I need?

If you are a resident of the European Union, you must have your European health card. Italian law requires you to also have third party liability coverage.

If you are resident in the European Union, your national paragliding association should be able to offer you valid insurance coverage. Get well informed and be sure to have all the proper paper work.

Where do I arrive?

We will meet in Pisa. Depending on your mode of travel, we will meet either at the Pisa airport or Pisa train station. There are direct flights to Pisa from most major European airports, and many low cost airlines fly to Pisa as well.

Do I need to rent a car?

No, renting a car is not necessary. We will be driving you to the paragliding site and to the cities we will be visiting. That is luxury!
