GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Information: the organizer communicates the following information to the participant:

The main characteristics of the services;
The commercial name and geographic address of the organizer and his telephone number and e-mail address;
The total price of the package including taxes and duties and other additional costs, including any administrative and management costs;
Methods of payment including any amount or percentage of the amount to be paid as deposit and the calendar for payment of balance;
Minimum number of people required for the package;
Information regarding the participant’s right to withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the package upon payment of adequate withdrawal costs;
Details of the protection coverage in the event of insolvency or bankruptcy as well as the insurance contract for civil liability in favor of the participant.

2. Terms of purchase:

At the time of conclusion of contract, the organizer provides the participant with a copy of the contract. The participant must communicate any specific requests to the seller before booking. If feasible, they will be reported in writing in the contract and accepted by the organizer.

3. Payments:

When signing the contract, a deposit equal to 50% of the total amount must be paid as advance payment account. The balance must be paid 15 working days before the start date of the package. Failure to pay the above amounts on the established dates will result in the payment of penalties.

4. Participant’s withdrawal:

Participants can withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the package upon payment of adequate withdrawal costs.

Fees in case of cancellation:

  • Up to 15 working days before departure, a 50% fee will be retained on the entire amount of the participation fee;
  • From the 14th to the 7th working day a 75% fee will be retained on the entire amount of the participation fee;
  • From the 5th day 100% of the participation fee will be applied as penalty.

5. Changes after departure:

If after departure the organizer cannot provide, for any reason, an essential part of the services provided for in the contract, he must arrange suitable alternative solutions for the continuation of the planned trip not involving charges of any kind to be paid by the participant.

6. Transfer of contract:

The renouncing tourist can be replaced by another person provided that the organizer is informed in writing at least 5 working days prior to the arrival date.

7. Minimum participants:

A minimum number of participants is required for the package. Any failure to reach the required minimum and the consequent cancellation will be communicated by the organizer at least 15 working days before departure and the paid amounts for the package fully refunded. As an alternative to the cancellation, the organizer can offer the participant the same or an alternative

8. Insurance coverage:

The package always includes the medical-baggage insurance taken out with Axa Product Insurance: I4T Single-Trip Insurance. The insurance coverage is related only to the services provided by Le Terre di Bacco Tour Operator.

9. Guarantee Fund:

Subsequently to the closing by the Italian Government on 30 June 2016, in response to new European directives, of the National Guarantee Fund (art. 51 of Legislative Decree 23 May 2011 n. 79 OJ n. 129 of 06 June 2011; Text in force since 21 June 2011) for the consumer protection from insolvency or bankruptcy of the seller or organizer, according to the deadline for transposition, Le Terre di Bacco T. O. joined the IMA Italia Assistance Guarantee Fund (Sesto San Giovanni (MI), Piazza Indro Montanelli n.20, Policy number: SOLV/2020/097).
