How does the tour work

Friday: We will pick you up at either the Pisa airport or the Pisa Central train station and drive you to your hotel in San Giuliano Terme to check you in and leave your luggage. Immediately afterwards, we will go to fly in front of a fantastic sunset. That same evening we will enjoy an aperitif and visit Pisa with its Leaning Tower.

In case of bad weather, after dropping off your luggage, we will spend the whole day in Pisa and the evening in Lucca.

Saturday: Our flight area is selected according to the weather forecast. In the case of bad weather, we will move to plan B and visit the Tuscan cities of Art. A special event is always scheduled for this day. Our team will remain at your disposal and assist you full time.

Sunday: Visit of the Leonardo da Vinci Museum. (Please note some Tours do not provide this option). In the afternoon, we will drive you back to Pisa for you to take your return flight or train.

Where do we fly?

PIZZORNE : 970 Meters ASL

The Pizzorne Plateau is located near Lucca. This area is suitable for thermic flight exclusively. Several hours of flight ensured every day even in case of weak whether conditions.

During the summer months, the Lucca flatland offers strong thermic conditions. From there, pilots can gain significant elevation. Eventually they can start XC flights towards the Apennines mountain chain or just enjoy a great panorama of breathtaking seventeenth-century villas.

SAN GIULIANO TERME : 300 Meters ASL

Hills of San Giuliano Terme : The proximity of the sea generates a breeze that creates the conditions to fly all year long. San Giuliano is a true paraglider’s dream. It offers a wonderful panorama of both Pisa and its famous Leaning Tower.

You will also enjoy the breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Rising in altitude, you can see both the cities of Pisa and Lucca at the same time.
This location offers pilots many hours of stress-free paragliding. It is an ideal place for relaxing flights.
